Diagnosis. The margins of both wings have dark brown fringes, and crenulation of
the hindwing is very weak. A dark brown bar with grey distad marks the short
costal section of the forewing postmedial. The ventral margin of the dorsal arm
of the valve is distinctly angled.
Geographical range. Sri Lanka, N.E. Himalaya, Sumatra, Borneo,
Philippines, Sulawesi.
Habitat preference. Most records are from lowland forest but the species
has been recorded to almost 2000m.
