24mm. See the generic description and illustrations. The short
zone of white fringes, as distinct from dark brown ones, on the margin of the
forewing just subapically is also diagnostic. The ground colour is dull orange,
irrorated and marked in reddish brown in the male, but a redder brown, more
strongly marked in the female.

Geographical range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia.
Habitat preference. Both male specimens were taken at 1000m in the lower
montane zone of G. Mulu, the female being from a higher altitude.
The species is named for Herbert Sidek of Long Terawan who assisted with
moth collecting at the time the specimens were taken.
