Diagnosis. The forewing antemedial is absent as in inordinata, but the
hindwing fascia is well distal to the discal dot and meets the costa at a point
distal to the junction of the forewing postmedial with the dorsum; in inordinata
they are colinear.
Geographical range. Sundaland.
Habitat preference. This is a species of upper montane forest, recorded
at around 1700-1800m on G. Mulu, 1500m on G. Api, from 1600-1930m on G. Kinabalu
and from 1465m on Bukit Retak.
