Type species: liturata Clerck, Palaearctic.
Synonyms: Philobia Duponchel (type species notata Linnaeus,
Europe); Eutropa Hübner (type species distribuaria Hübner, N.
America); Sciagraphia Hulst (type species granitata Guenée, N.
America).
This genus was redefined in the introductory section to Macariini (See
Macariini). There is only one species in the Bornean fauna, an introduction from
the Neotropics.
