Diagnosis.
The black
and white forewing facies is unmistakable.
Geographical
range. N.E.
Himalaya (ssp. tumefacta); Burma, Sundaland, Sulawesi; Moluccas to
Solomons (ssp. longidens).
Habitat
preference. Bornean
material is from the lowlands particularly open habitats and dry heath forest
(at Telisai in Brunei).
