Diagnosis. This
is a smaller, more delicate species than illecta with deeper, more
variegated dark grey forewings within which the reniform is obviously paler. C.
conducta is smaller, with browner, less variegated forewings, but has a
similarly narrow, straplike valve in the male genitalia; it has not been
recorded definitely from Borneo.
Geographical
range. Indo-Australian
tropics to Queensland and the Bismarcks; not noted from the Indian Subregion.
Habitat
preference. The
species is infrequent in open habitats in the lowlands but occurs to as high as
1200m on G. Kinabalu.
