Anigraea phaeopera Hampson,

Diagnosis. The semicircular dark brown distal zone of the forewing distinguishes
this species. There appears to be a greater number of spines on the male eighth
sternite than in other species.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. Bornean material is from the lowland localities of
Sandakan, Sabah, and Bidi, Sarawak.
