Atacira angulata sp. n.
Atacira angulata (holotype; Peninsular Malaysia)

11-12mm. The forewing ground colour is pale pinkish grey that is seen
uniformly in an obliquely bounded basal area and in a triangular area at the
apex that contains the brown subapical costal triangle. The rest of the
fore-wing is darker, mottled broadly at the tornus, uniform elsewhere; there is
a fine dark medial, and the reniform and postmedial are defined by fine, dark-
edged, yellowish lines.
Holotype . Genting Tea Estate, 2000ft,
W. Pahang, MALAYSIA, 12.12.76 (H.S. Barlow).
Paratype . MALAY
PENIN: Bukit Tangga, 26.1.1914 (W.S. Laverock), BM 1933-355.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The two Bornean specimens seen, from Kuching,
Sarawak, and Ulu Belait, Brunei, were both from lowland localities.
