14mm. The facies of the forewing is similar to that of josephinae but
the fasciae basal to the submarginal are of greater and more even intensity,
more evenly spaced. The reniform is centred red rather than black.
Holotype .BRUNEI: Rampayoh, 2.3.8 2 (T.
W. Harman).
Paratype . BRUNEI: 300m, Ulu Temburong,
rainforest, 20 Oct 1978 (Lt. Col. M.G. Allen), BM noctuid slide 10962.
Geographical range. Borneo, W. Sumatra (Lebong Tandai), W. Sulawesi (Loda,
Paloe), New Guinea (Waigeu).
Habitat preference. Both Bornean specimens were taken in lowland
dipterocarp forest.
