13-16mm. The forewings are a dull pink with paler fawn areas in the
reniform, basal to the oblique black subbasal, and subapically in association
with the costal triangle; fasciae distal to the subbasal are barely evident but
there is a distinctive, broad, diffuse brown shade marginally from the central
angle to the tornus (somewhat more intense in Sumatran specimens). In the male
genitalia the saccus tapers to a point rather than being rounded, and the valves
are slightly more slender than in obliquata.

Geographical range. Borneo, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia.
