Diagnosis. The patterning of the strikingly ashy grey forewings is unmistakable.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. On G. Kinabalu two specimens were taken in the
agricultural area at Kundasan (1050m). In Brunei single specimens were taken in
upper montane forest on Bukit Retak and in lowland forest at Rampayoh.
