Diagnosis. This is one of the smaller Bornean plusiines. The brown forewings are
suffused with reddish bronze except along the greyish dorsum, and are crossed by
an oblique double pale grey mark centrally.
Geographical range. Oriental tropics to as far north as Japan, and east
to Sundaland and the Philippines. The species is also known from Queensland.
Habitat preference. During recent surveys the species has only been taken
at Bundu Tuhan and Kundasan, agricultural areas in the foothills of G. Kinabalu.
Biology. A Japanese larval hostplant is Polygonum (Polygonaceae) (Miyata,
1983).
