7-8mm. The forewings are relatively deep, strikingly patterned with dark
grey on a pale, silvery grey ground as illustrated; the medial dark triangular
area is distinctive, much more intense than in conglobalis. In the male
genitalia the membrane between the valve elements is narrow, the saccus is
somewhat triangular, not trilobed, and the uncus consists of a single process,
possibly homologous with the ventral lobe in other species.
