Lophoptera smaragdipanni sp. n.
12-13mm. This species is smaller but very similar externally to the
previous one. However, the green forewing band is more irregular, a series of
fused patches. In the male genitalia the valve is more or less entire; the
sigmoid aedeagus bears a slender apical spine angled to the axis of the shaft.
The female seventh abdominal segment is invested with small, black, spine-like
scales.
