Geographical
range. Sundaland east to New Guinea, New Caledonia and Fiji.
Habitat
preference. One specimen has been recorded from Kampong Kapok, an area of
habitation with some coastal vegetation, including mangrove, on the coast of
Brunei.
Biology.
Robinson et
al. (2001)
recorded Erythrina,
Pterocarpus
and
Senna
as
host plants, all Leguminosae. In New Guinea, Miller et
al.
(unpublished) noted 286 rearings from Pterocarpus but also single records from Randia,
Psychotria
and
Tarenna
(Rubiaceae),
and Phyllanthus
(Euphorbiaceae).
