Diagnosis.
The wings appear more variegated, with more regular, thicker fasciation than in alix
and
zamis,
the colour more of a greenish brown. The black patch with a white dot on the
margin of the hindwing near the tornus is conspicuous (barely evident in the
other two species).
Geographical
range. Sundaland.
Habitat
preference. Five specimens have been recorded in Borneo, three from lowland
forest: at 150m at the foot of G. Mulu; at 300m in the Ulu Temburong of Brunei;
at Telupid in Sabah (FRC Colln, Sepilok). The other two are from 1465m on Bukit
Retak in Brunei.
