Diagnosis.
See the generic description. The narrow fawn forewings with a strong subcostal
streak, contrasting with the darker, more uniform hindwings, are distinctive in
both this and the next species, but the silver component of the streak is more
elongate and conspicuous in costata, and the angled darker bands across the
basal two thirds are less conspicuous.
Geographical
range. Himalaya, Taiwan, Thailand (VK), Sumatra,
Borneo.
Habitat
preference. Bornean material seen consists of a single female from 1930m on
G. Kinabalu.
