Diagnosis.
The forewings are distinctively patterned, relatively narrow and with an acute
apex. They are shades of grey, darker over the distal half beyond a fine white
line that extends obliquely between, and fades away towards, the rounded tornus
and one third along the costa. The wings are traversed also by diffusely darker
fasciae, the postmedial ones being truncated at the white line or displaced
basad posterior to it.
Geographical
range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia.
Habitat
preference. This is an infrequent species of lowland forest, including
heath forest, though one specimen was recorded at 1790m on G. Mulu and another
at 1618m on Bukit Retak in Brunei.
