Diagnosis.
See the generic description. An unusual feature is the darker brown bar running
postmedially from the hindwing tornus, straight basally, concave distally,
terminating posterior to M1, with pale triangles in the two spaces immediately
anterior to it.
Geographical
range. N.E. Himalaya, Thailand (VK), Borneo, Sumatra (HS / ZSM),
Sulawesi, New Guinea, Bismarcks.
Habitat
preference. Only two Bornean specimens have been located: from an area of
cultivation and forest fragments at 1200m on G. Kinabalu; from dipterocarp
forest on limestone at 250m on G. Api in the G. Mulu National Park.
