Diagnosis
and taxonomic note. See H. crocea above. As this species and H.
vivida are
sympatric in Borneo, they cannot be conspecific. The male genitalia have a
broader valve with a larger central process and a small angular flap at the
centre of the costa.
Geographical
range. Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. Two specimens were recorded in dipterocarp forest on limestone
at 250m on the lower slopes of G. Api during the Mulu survey.
