Diagnosis.
The forewings are a similar shape and dark brown colour to those of holortha,
but are marbled slightly with grey rather than fasciated and have a conspicuous
white patch within the cell at one third, and there are often also white flecks
submarginally, arranged parallel to the marginal angle.
Geographical
range. Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. Five specimens have been taken in recent surveys, three from
lowlands of Brunei (dipterocarp forest at Labi and Ulu Temburong; heath forest
at Telisai) and singletons from G. Mulu in forest at 150m and 1000m.
