This
sequence commences with several genera that show at least some of the features
of the Episparis group, such as the strongly heterogeneous setation of
the ovipositor lobes, and a pale, even
translucent, reniform to the forewing, which has an angled margin in several
cases. Three genera (Poliofoca Hampson,
Vestura
Swinhoe
and Gracillina
Hampson)
have coremata or hair pencils on the valves of the male genitalia.
The last
five genera have facies similar to that of the tribe Pangraptini treated next,
but lack its definitive features (essentially those of the type species).
