Diagnosis.
See the generic description. The narrow dark purplish brown forewings and
blackish angular fasciation of fore- and hindwings are distinctive.
Geographical
range. N.E. Himalaya, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. This is an uncommon lowland forest species but has been
recorded from as high as 1000m (lower montane forest) on G. Mulu.
