Deva
infundens Walker,
[1863] 1864 , J.
Linn. Soc. (Zool.), 7: 74.
Diagnosis.
The species is medium brown with very slightly falcate forewings. The male
antennae are bipectinate. There is an oblique, straight, basally diffuse darker
medial fascia that converges at the dorsum with a narrower, more obscure but
more strongly defined submarginal fascia to form a triangle.
Geographical
range. Borneo, Sumatra (HS / K), Peninsular Malaysia, Burma, N.E.
Himalaya.
Habitat
preference. A.R. Wallace collected the holotype and several other specimens
in Sarawak, probably in the lowlands, but it has only been taken in recent
surveys by Chey (1994), who recorded four specimens in a Eucalyptus
deglupta plantation in the lowlands of Sabah.
