Diagnosis.
The species is distinguished by pale brown forewings that are conspicuously
marked with a sequence of two triangles and a quadrilateral block in black along
the costa; the reniform is also black and strongly arcuate.
Geographical
range. N.E. Himalaya (ssp. triangulata);
Thailand (VK), Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi.
Habitat
preference. Records are all from lowland forest, none above 500m.
Biology.
Robinson et
al. (2001)
recorded Amphicarpaea
(Leguminosae)
as a host plant.
