Diagnosis.
The species has deeper wings than I.
costinotata Hampson,
with the forewings slightly more bifalcate. The wings are a very uniform pale
mauve-grey, with very fine, pale, irregular fasciae that become slightly more
definite at the forewing costa.
Geographical
range. Sri Lanka,
Hainan, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Sangihe.
Habitat
preference. Only two specimens are known from Borneo, both from lowland
forest: at 150m near the foot of G. Mulu; at 300m in the Ulu Temburong of Brunei
