Geographical
range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia (Yunus & Ho, 1980).
Habitat
preference. All six specimens seen are from the lowlands, two taken in
Sarawak by A.R. Wallace, an old specimen from Sandakan on the coast of Sabah,
and three taken in recent surveys in Brunei: one from an area of swamp forest, Agathis and
secondary vegetation near Badas (50-100m); two from coastal forest and secondary
vegetation at Mumong (3m).
Biology.
Robinson et
al.
(2001) recorded Casuarina (Casuarinaceae) as a host plant (Yunus & Ho,
1980).
