Taxonomic
note. The rather bean-shaped, asymmetric bursa can contain small
spicules detached from a circular pad on the aedeagus vesica of the male. The
bursa in the Bornean specimen dissected is slightly longer than that of a
typical New Guinean female.
Geographical
range. New Guinea,
Seram, Sulawesi, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. The species has been recorded singly as follows: at 100m on
roadside in secondary vegetation near the Danum Valley Field Centre; at 250m in
dipterocarp forest on G. Api, at 1000m in lower montane forest on G. Mulu. Two
of these three localities are shared with rectigramma.
