Diagnosis. The facies of fore- and hindwings renders this
species unmistakable; see the generic description.
Geographical
range. N. India, Vietnam, Thailand, Sundaland, Sulawesi.
Habitat
preference. Frequent over an altitude range from sea-level to about 2000m,
the species has been recorded from forested, disturbed and cultivated areas. In
contrast with Oxyodes scrobiculata, it was recorded mostly in the of both
logged and undisturbed forest in the vicinity of the Danum Valley Field Centre (S.J.
Willott data).
