Diagnosis.
This is a large, unmistakable species with pale brownish grey, slightly falcate
forewings, diffusely fasciated darker; the reniform and orbicular are picked out
in black in some specimens. The hindwings are straw-colour, broadly but unevenly
bordered black submarginally.
Geographical
range. Thailand
(VK), Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo, Sulawesi, Seram, New Guinea.
Habitat
preference. Records are infrequent but range in mostly forested localities
from the coast to 2600m.
