Diagnosis.
This is one of the larger species, having a pale fawn ground colour to the
wings, with strong, double postmedial fasciae that separate off darker mauve and
brown marginal areas except for elliptical zones of the ground colour at each
tornus. The forewing postmedial is strongly angled.
Geographical
range. Philippines,
Borneo, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia (Barlow Colln), Sulawesi.
Habitat
preference. Only two specimens have been taken during recent surveys, both
from lowland forest in Brunei: at 60m in Ulu Belait and 300m in Ulu Temburong.
There is also a specimen without precise data from G. Marapok in Sabah.
