Diagnosis.
The ground colour of the wings of this small species is a pale ochreous fawn,
finely fasciated paler, the postmedial of the hindwing being gently curved and
that of the forewing roundedly angled. There is a basal block and a square
apical block of dark, bluish, green-brown on the forewing and dark submarginal
lunules at the hindwing tornus.
Taxonomic
note. The Bornean specimen has the dark apical patch of the forewing
more triangular than square.
Geographical
range. N.E. Himalaya, Taiwan, Thailand (VK), Borneo.
Habitat
preference. The only specimen is from lower montane forest at 1000m on G.
Mulu.
