Diagnosis
and taxonomic note. This species is a similar colour to sidonalis
but
has the postmedial fasciae finely delineated in black, as are also the
antemedial and subbasal of the forewings; these latter are more irregular in sidonalis.
There may sometimes be black streaking along the medial veins of the forewing.
The male genitalia also indicate relationship to sidonalis.
Geographical
range. India,
Sri Lanka, Andamans, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. The only specimen seen is a female from lowland forest in the
Barito Ulu of Kalimantan Tengah.
