Diagnosis.
This is like a much smaller, more variegated version of Singara diversalis,
more heavily suffused with brown and with the forewing reniform consisting of
two whitish or yellowish bars set transversely.
Geographical
range. N.E. Himalaya, Burma to Solomons.
Habitat
preference. This is a common species, found in a variety of lowland forest
types and extending more rarely to as high as 1500m.
