Diagnosis.
The extensive whitish blotches basally and postmedially on the forewing are
distinctive and much more extensive than in the next species.
Geographical
range. Indian Subregion, Hong Kong, Thailand (VK), Sundaland, Sulawesi.
Habitat
preference. The species is represented in Borneo by singletons from Bidi in
Sarawak and Samarinda in Kalimantan, both lowland localities, in addition to the
holotype, taken in Sarawak by A.R. Wallace. The only specimen recorded in recent
surveys is from lowland forest in the Barito Ulu of Kalimantan Tengah.
