Diagnosis.
This is a small medium brown species, the wings variegated irregularly with
creamy fawn, speckled with brown, in an area between the postmedials and the
submarginals. The forewing reniform is often ringed with black, and the hindwing
discal spot is also black. There are smaller blackish markings irregularly
associated with the fasciae.
Geographical
range. N.E. Himalaya, Burma, Borneo.
Habitat
preference. A single female has been seen, taken in the vicinity of
Pontianak in the lowlands of Kalimantan.
