The hindwing margin has a slight but distinct central projection. In the male
genitalia the juxta is apically square, broadest at that point; the largest
cornutus in the aedeagus vesica is apically bulbous. The cleft of the posterior
lobes of the lamella postvaginalis terminates in a posteriorly directed pocket
in this and the remaining species; it is much smaller than the lobes in prima,
almost as large in leucolopha Prout and much larger (deeper) in albitibia
Walker.
Geographical
range. India
to Sundaland.
Habitat
preference. The species has been taken infrequently in forested localities
from the lowlands to as high as 1780m.
