Diagnosis. The broad yellow apical zone and
strongly serrated margin of the hindwing distinguish this species from
congeners, but the forewing pattern is similar, and also highly variable.
Geographical range. Himalaya, Thailand
(VK), Peninsular
Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species is infrequent in
lowland forest, though a singleton was taken at 900m in lower montane forest on
G. Api and two were taken at 1930m on G. Kinabalu.
