Diagnosis. This is a larger species than the previous two, and the males have antennae that are conspicuously noded centrally and labial palps with a prominently tufted third segment. The facies is somewhat as in mysalis but the forewing discal mark is more elongate and conspicuous, and the submarginals are entire, conspicuous and dentate on all wings.
Habitat preference. The species is uncommon, with two specimens recorded from secondary alluvial forest on the banks of the S. Melinau at 50m near G. Mulu, and one from disturbed coastal forest at Seria in Brunei. There are also three specimens from 85 miles “above” (upstream from?) Pontianak in Kalimantan.
