Bocana silenusalis
Diagnosis. The male antennae are long, finely and narrowly fasciculate, not much more than ciliate. The large white discal patch of the forewing is distinctive, and there is also a small white orbicular dot.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. This is an uncommon species of lowland forest, including heath forest and softwood plantation (Chey, 1994). The highest records are from 400m.
