Diagnosis. This and the next species have similar facies of fine, crenate, darker brown fasciae and discal marks on a paler brown ground, but this ground colour is darker, less ochreous in eudoxusalis. See also the diagnosis of the next species for male genital features.
Taxonomic note. Lödl (2002) illustrated the type material of this species.
Habitat preference. This is a frequently encountered species in primary and secondary forest in the lowlands, mostly at below 300m. The highest record is from 900m.
