Diagnosis. Unlike in most congeners where the forewing submarginal is associated with one or two white dots subapically, ocellata has two white dots set obliquely in a black disc that is surrounded by a pale halo around which the postmedial and submarginal form a half ring anteriorly.
Geographical range. Borneo, Sumatra (HS / K).
Habitat preference. The only Bornean specimens are the type material from G. Kinabalu, taken at 1500m and 1620m in montane forest.
