The type specimen (OUMNH) is damaged, lacking a hindwing and its abdomen. The forewing is narrow, and the facies is atypical of the Herminiinae, having a bipunctate discal mark more typical of some Acontiinae. One further specimen has been located (Khasia Hills, Assam), but this also lacks an abdomen.
