Stadna metaspilata
Stadna Swinhoe is a monobasic genus. The holotypes of both names are in OUMNH and are both from Sarawak. They are illustrated in Plate 9 and have sufficiently similar facies to indicate conspecificity. That of nigriplaga is male with an abdomen that proved on dissection to be severely damaged and lacking genitalia. That of metaspilata is female. The genitalia have a striking sterigma associated with the eighth segment, consisting of an M-shaped posterior protrusion that is linked on each side to small, laterally directed hooks. The ductus extends from this structure as a sclerotised ribbon, narrower centrally, and leads into a tubular neck section of the corpus bursae, on which the pyriform distal part is set asymmetrically.
