Diagnosis.
This is a relatively large, robust species with forewings variegated with grey and black. The antemedial and postmedial are pale, narrow, close together, running slightly obliquely, straight, with the antemedial angled basad just subcostally. There is a black orbicular dot just distal to the antemedial and two black triangles in the discal position just distal to the postmedial. The apical lens is obscure but contains a white fleck in the submarginal which is otherwise blackish, obscure, and very finely crenate over its extension posterior to the apical lens.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The species is only known from the holotype, taken at 1930m on G. Kinabalu.
