Schrankia spiralaedeagus sp. n.

Schrankia spiralaedeagus
Figure 505

5mm. The forewings are a medium mauvish brown, crossed by pale yellow fasciae, but narrower and more numerous than in bruntoni: a full antemedial and postmedial, marked irregularly within by black scales; a weak, broken subbasal; a narrow broken submarginal that is stronger towards the apex of the wing. The hindwings are a paler grey-brown. The male genitalia have lateral triangular processes on each side of the centre of the uncus. The tegumen is slightly shouldered. The valves have strong, lobe-like processes, one central and one subapical, the latter being the apical part of the costa. The saccus is short, not extending much beyond the valve bases. The aedeagus is long, slender, tapering, and slightly spiralled over the apical half.
