Rivula calcaripuncta sp. n.

Rivula calcaripuncta

Figure 22

6mm. This is a smaller species than leuconephra, with the pale spots more numerous, more even in size and slightly bluish: a straight, oblique antemedial row, but with smaller spots relatively than in leucosticta; a double discal spot, with two spots on the costa just basad from it; a discally bilobed postmedial as in leucosticta; an almost complete and even row of marginal spots. The male abdomen is more weakly ornamented than in the previous two species, and the genitalia have the valves short, paddle-like, rather than slender as in leuconephra. The valves lack ornamentation such as the long, hooked, apical setae of leucosticta.
