Diagnosis.
The pale fawn and dark brown pattern to the forewing, particularly the hook-like extension of the former into the latter, is distinctive.
Geographical range.
Indian Subregion, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Borneo, Bali, Tanimbar, New Guinea, Bismarcks, Australia.
Habitat preference.
Five specimens have been taken in recent surveys, all from or near the coast of Brunei in heath forest or strand forest, including areas of disturbance.
