Diagnosis. The bright green forewings, with a distal semicircular zone
containing fine black and reddish brown zig-zags, are diagnostic.
Geographical range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra.
Habitat preference. The species is found, often commonly, from the lowlands
to about 1800m and more rarely above that to 2110m. It persists in secondary
forest and plantation (Chey, 1994).
Biology.
In Peninsular Malaysia the species has been reared by W.A. Nässig from Saraca
(Leguminosae).
