Diagnosis. This species breaks with the theme of the previous three, the
forewings having a large, squarish, dark brown patch flanked by white bands and
then, at the base and the distal margin, golden brown zones. The hindwings are
brown.
Taxonomic note. The aedeagus vesica is similar to that of confictella.
Geographical range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra.
Habitat preference.
The only Bornean specimen seen is the holotype
from Pulo Laut, a low-lying island at the south east of Borneo.
